Session 17 June 2006

According to the Eikenberry et al (2001) ephemeris, the redshift is 0.184 and the blueshift is -0.110:

The blue line is the blueshifted Halpha line, the red one is the redshifted one. The dot line is the time of my observation.

14x200s exposure, Jeulin grating.

  • The Halpha 6563 line is prominent in all the spectra;
  • The line at 4640 may be the HeII 4686;
  • There may be the HeI 5876 line or the blueshifted Halpha line at 5840;
  • The line at 5660 is not identified.

  • Session 23 June 2006

    According to the ephemeris, the redshift is 0.177 and the blueshift is -0.103:

    2x60s + 20x200s exposure.

  • The 5820 line may be the HeI 5876 line or the blueshifted Halpha line at 5884;
  • The 7040 line may be the HeI 7065 line;
  • The lines are 4920, 5250, 5690, 7500 are not identified.

  • Session 29 June 2006

    According to the ephemeris, the redshift is 0.166 and the blueshift -0.092:

    27x200s exposure.

  • The line at 5830 may be the HeI 5876 line;
  • The line at 4600 may be the HeII 4686 line;
  • The line at 7050 may be the HeI 7065 line;
  • The lines at 5680 and 6210 are not identified.

  • Session 23 July 2006

    According to the ephemeris, the redshift is 0.089 and the blueshift is -0.015:

    12x200s exposure.

  • The strong line at 5820 is probably the HeI 5876 line.
  • The line at 7080 may be the redshited Halpha line (should be at 7146 according to the ephemeris) or more likely is the HeI 7065 line.
  • The line at 6900 is not identified.
  • The absorption at 7600 is interpreted as telluric oxygen.

  • Session 29 July 2006

    According to the ephemeris, the redshift is 0.067 and the "blueshift" 0.007 (a redshift actually):

    9x200s exposure. The data around 7400 are missing because of hot pixels.

  • Lines are observed at 6780, 5640, 5200, 7500 but are not interpreted;
  • The weak line at 4500 may be HeI 4471;
  • There is a recurrent (shows up on other spectra) weak line 5350, not interpreted;
  • There is an absorption line at 8200, not interpreted;
  • The telluric oxygen absorption line at 7600 is visible.

    Session 22 Aug 2006

    According to the ephemeris, the redshift is 0.002 and the "blueshift" is 0.072 (a redshift actually):

    9x200s exposure. There is not data for <4500 and >8000 because of hot pixels.

  • The strong line at 7050 may be the redshifted Halpha (should be at 7037 according to the ephemeris) or more likely the HeI 7065;
  • The line at 4600 may be the HeII 4686;
  • The lines at 6770, 5670, 5850 are not interpreted;
  • The line at 5300 may be recurrent and is not interpreted.

  • Session 30 Aug 2006

    According to the ephemeris, the "redshift" is -0.005 (a blueshift actually) and the "blueshift" is 0.079 (a redshift actually):

    10x200s exposure, StarAnalyzer grating at 49.3 mm from the CCD (resolution: 18A/pixel).

  • The feature at 7200 is due to a star that overlaps the spectrum. It did not show up in the previous spectra because the camera/grating orientation was different. There may be a line around 7000, actually the redshited Halpha line should be at 7084 according to the ephemeris, or it may be the HeI 7065 line;
  • The line at 4500 may be HeI 4471;
  • There is a line at 6420, not interpreted;
  • There are those recurrent lines at 5300 and 8180, not interpreted;
  • The telluric oxygen absorption at 7600 is visible.

  • Session 20 Sep 2006

    According to the ephemeris, the redshift is 0.018 and the "blueshift" is 0.056 (a redshift actually):

    18x200s exposure.

  • The strong line at 6730 may be interpreted as the HeI 6678 line;
  • The reccurent line at 4500 may be the HeI 4471 line;
  • There is again these lines at 5300 and 8200, not interpreted;
  • There are weak lines at 3900 and 5540, not interpreted;
  • The small absorption at 7600 is interpreted as telluric oxygen;
  • The bump around 7200 is due to a star that overlaps with the spectrum.

  • Session 15 Oct 2006

    According to the ephemeris the redshift is 0.101 and the blueshift is -0.027:

    18x200s exposure.

  • The strong line at 6230 may be the blueshited Halpha (should be 6384 according to the ephemeris);
  • The strong line at 4470 may be the "redshifted" Hbeta (4524 according to the ephemeris) line or the HeI 4471 line;
  • There is this reccurent line at 5300, not interpreted;
  • The small absorption at 7600 is interpreted as telluric oxygen;
  • The bump around 7300 is due to a star that overlaps with the spectrum.

  • Session 14 Nov 2006

    According to the ephemeris the redshift is 0.182 (Halpha: 7756) and the blueshift is -0.108 (Halpha: 5855):

    The StarAnalyzer is at 62.8mm from the CCD (resolution: 14A/pixel). 8x200s exposure. There are 3 gaps because of overlaping stars.

  • The line at 4500 may be HeI 4471;
  • The line at 5200 is not interpreted;
  • The line at 5930 may be the HeI 5876 line or the blue shifted Halpha at 5855.

  • Session 18 Nov 2006

    According to the ephemeris the redshift is 0.185 (Halpha: 7777) and the blueshift is -0.111 (Halpha: 5834):

    11x200s exposure. There are 2 gaps because of overlapping stars.

  • The line at 4500 may be HeI 4471;
  • The line at 5834 may be HeI 5876 or the blueshifted Halpha;
  • The line at 7777 may be the redshifted Halpha.
